PLEASE VOLUNTEER AND REPRESENT IVARC
IVARC's 3rd Labor Day Event is coming up and we will be pulling the IVARC COMMUNICATION HUB in the parade and displaying it at Jubilee Park!
This is THE significant event in the IV to let people know about IVARC, the HUB, and our variety of activities.
The HUB will be air conditioned with the back door open, and adjacent will be a canopy with table and chairs.
We will provide a free charging station and water for folks traversing the hot landscape of Jubilee Park.
There will be a daily raffle of (1) Baofeng 5RM radio and (1) pocket flashlight.
We need you to come out and greet people, give out flyers and business cards, sell raffle tickets, and encourage net and club membership.
We will also have, at least, one advanced technical operator to provide an overview of the technology and the HUB's capability.
The display times are approximately Saturday and Sunday 10-5, and Monday 11-4.
Even if it's just a few hours, it's appreciated, and we need you.
