I know what you're saying and I think if a club is to succeed with it's objective it needs to retain the interest of it's members.... even if at times the event is a little off kilter. The invitation by Mary to come visit his wood mill just happened to be made "on air" and all that responded "on air" showed up..... and had fun! The point is to get out there and do something together.... even if it's radio related.... lol. BUT!! don't try to be a community service club. Stay focused on the club objectives.
