Nice site snowman, lots of hardware information. I have my eye on the Anytone AT-D578UV III.

During the last fire season I utilized your list of fire monitor frequencies. What a great resource, thank you.
 
Snowman!! As you know, I got the Anytone 5555 for the CB work. And even bought a nice base antenna and a auto tuner for it. However. I am just about resolved to the fact that I'm in a "forest hole" of moderating trees that just love to suck up CB transmissions. Listening to everyone "check -in" is good but not being able to be heard is LOUSY! :(
